Christmas and New Year Deliveries

We will be sending out web store deliveries up until Thursday 22nd December with our delivery partners FedEx Express and FedEx UK delivering right up until the end of Friday 23rd Dec. Guaranteed pre Christmas delivery to the following regions is be available if orders are placed before noon on 20th Dec for Rest of World, 21st Dec for USA + Canada and 22nd Dec for all EU + UK deliveries.

Please note the Uniform Wares office will be closed from 2pm on Thursday 22nd December until January 3rd. Web store orders will however be dispatched between the 28th-30th December.

Shipping Method

All UK and International orders are shipped using FedEx UK or FedEx Express. We aim to dispatch all orders next working day, a dispatch lead time will be issued next to the item you are ordering in your shopping cart. Once your order has been packaged and dispatched by us your tracking number will sent to you via email so you can track your item online and follow it's progress. All deliveries are fully insured and a signature will be required upon delivery. Please note that once an order has been dispatched we are unable to redirect it.

Tax Free Shopping for Non EU Customers

Customers outside the EU are exempt from UK value added tax when shopping on our site. VAT at 20.0 % of the total amount for goods will be deducted from the shoppiong basket total when a ROW destination country is selected at the checkout. Approximate prices in alternative currencies can be viewed by selecting the currency tab at the top of the site. Prices are shown for EU and tax free checkout.

Current "Rest of World" delivery countries include - Australia, Hong Kong, Iceland, Japan, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore and Switzerland. Other shipping destinations will be added in 2011.

The estimated delivery times above are to be used as a guide only and commence from the date of dispatch. Uniform Wares is not responsible for any delays caused by the customs clearance process.

Please note that the shipping rates stated above are not inclusive of any taxes, duties or import fees that may be charged when a package reaches it's destination country. All orders are shipped DDU (Delivered Duty Unpaid)



Shopping on the Website

While browsing the website, items can be added to the shopping basket by selecting a specific item in it's drop down and then clicking the "Add to basket" button. You will be able to “Remove” items from the cart or make a change to the quantity or colour at any time. To do this simply navigate to the "Shopping Cart" make your adjustments then click on the “Update Cart” to confirm these changes.

To show items on the site or in your basket in other currencies than GBP, select the desired currency at the top of the page. When you are ready to complete your order, click on “Checkout” button. If you haven't already, you will need to create a Uniform Wares Account which securly stores your contact and delivery information for your order with us. After this simply follow steps One to Four which will take you through the checkout process quickly and securely.

Forgotten Passwords

If you have forgotten your password, follow the “Forgotten Password” instructions on the “Sign In” page. Uniform Wares will send you a new coded password to use on the site. This password is case sensitive. You will be able to reset your password to your desired code once you have logged in with the password provided.

Payment Methods

We accept VISA, Master Card, Maestro and Solo/Switch credit and debit cards, we do not currently accept American Express. Payment can also be made using PayPal Express Checkout. All credit and debit card payments are handled by PayPal Business, a secure online payment gateway that encrypts card details in a secure environment. If any problems arise when placing an order, please contact us by e-mail or phone.

Security

To help ensure that your shopping experience is safe, simple and secure, Uniform Wares uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. This encrypts and protects the data you send to us over the internet. If SSL is enabled then you will see a padlock at the top of your browser and you can click on this to find out information about the SSL digital certificate registration.

Any card transactions that are taken over the phone by Uniform Wares are also processed securely by Paypal. After a phone transaction is made card details are not kept by us, card details are disposed of securely.

Terms & Conditions

Products displayed on this website are available while stocks permit and can be removed without any prior notice. The pricing and descriptions of products can also be amended at any point without notice being given. We aim to display the colours of our products as accurately as possible, however as resolution, print methods and screen settings can affect how an item is displayed, the accuracy of colours cannot
be guaranteed. We reserve the right to refuse to supply products to any individual or company.

Uniform Wares Webstore Returns Policy

If you are not 100% satisfied with your timepiece from Uniform Wares you can return it to us for an exchange or refund provided it is returned to us within 14 Days of order receipt.

Returns are only accepted for items purchased directly from uniformwares.com. If your item was purchased from one of Uniform Wares' retail partners please consult the Retailer Returns section.

Items returned for refund or exchange must be returned in new, unused and re-sellable condition, with the original packaging and any protective coverings and product information. Returns that are soiled, damaged or altered may not be accepted and may be sent back to the customer.

Items returned as gifts will be dealt with on an individual basis.

Returns received after 14 days of original receipt may be accepted at the discretion of Uniform Wares for store credit only. This does not affect your statutory rights.


How To Make A Return

1. Contact us by email at info@uniformwares.com within 14 days of receiving your item to notify us of the reason for your return. Please include your full name and order number as a reference.

2. Upon receipt of your email we will send you a Returns Authorisation email including a PDF Returns Form and Returns Code. All returned items must be sent with a completed returns form, here you can specify your preferences for returning or exchanging. Items sent to us without a completed returns form will not be accepted.

3. Follow instructions on the Returns Form regarding suitable packaging, please ensure wristwatches are sent back using your standard national delivery service ensuring the item is adequately insured and trackable. If returning an item from outside of the EU, ensure you mark the items as ‘Goods Returned Under Warranty' on the shipping documents. Uniform Wares will not take responsiblity for any Customs Charges incurred on returned items.

4. Once we receive your returned item we will aim to process it straight away although this may take up to seven days. Refunds will take up to 5 business days to clear but may take longer to appear on bank or credit card statements. Original and return shipping costs for returned items will not be refunded. Items that require repair may take up to three weeks to process.

5. When replacement or repaired items are dispatched you will receive an Item Dispatched email with it's FedEx tracking number. Items sent to destinations outside of the EU will be shipped as "Returns" so duplicate import duty, taxes or customs charges are not incurred.


What Happens If My Timepiece Develops a Fault ?

If your Uniform Wares Timepiece develops a fault within the Warranty period, you will need to return it to us for repair. Only our dedicated service centre is authorised to carry out work on Uniform Wares timepieces. Warranty and Care information can be found on the Information Sheet included with your Timepiece. Please follow the instructions above when returning a timepiece for repair at our service centre. All Repairs are generally carried out within two weeks and will be sent back securely using FedEx UK or FedEx Express to your designated return address.

If you accidentally damage your timepiece or it develops a fault outside of its stated warranty period, please consult the "Service & Repair" section on the site for further information on the repair procedure and pricing for individual models.



Uniform Wares Retailer Returns Policy

If you wish to return your timepiece after purchasing from a Uniform Wares authorised retail partner please contact them directly for returns procedure. If your timepiece develops a fault and is in warranty we still advise you to contact the original place of purchase who will be able to assist with clear information on returning the item to our repair centre from your location. If your watch is out of its stated warranty period, please consult the service and repair section on our website for information on sending your item to our service centre.
