Who Is Leon Edwards?
Leon Edwards is a 29-year-old British MMA fighter who has been swiftly rising through the rankings.
He has been a professional competitor since 2011 and formerly competed for BAMMA, where he was the BAMMA Welterweight Champion.
Edwards is currently rated as the best welterweight in the UFC, and has been a hugely successful story since arriving.
He will be wearing a Uniform Wares watch for his next big upcoming fight in Vegas, and we can’t wait to see it.
Upcoming Fight In Vegas
A welterweight bout between Leon Edwards and Belal Muhammad is expected to serve as the main event at the UFC Fight Night on March 13 2021.
UFC Fight Night is a mixed martial arts event produced by the Ultimate Fighting Championship. It is due to take place at the UFC Apex facility in Las Vegas.
Edwards had originally planned to face Khamzat Chimaev three times, but saw each fight cancelled as a result of Covid-19 and Chimaev eventually withdrew.
Muhammad stepped in after a four-fight win streak, which includes a decision win over Dhiego Lima.
Leon Edwards, meanwhile, has won eight in a row and is the no.1 ranked welterweight in the UFC. He has been on a tear, and hasn’t lost a bout in four years.
